Guided cycle trip at Kattfjord (TNF 006)
This is a cycle tour with great views. We ride around the fjord of Kattfjorden, which is situated on the outer coast of the island of Kvaløya, a short drive from downtown Tromsø. This tour offers beautiful views of the mountains on the island of Kvaløya and out towards the Arctic coast.
We start at Lauklines Kystferie and ride first around Nordfjorden (north fjord) before arriving in Sørfjorden (south fjord) where we pass scattered houses and historic buildings. As we continue around the fjord, we can look across to Lauklines, the tour’s starting point. We arrive at Sandneshamn, which is an idyllic pearl with wonderful views of the fjord and mountains, before returning the same way as we came.
Participants require only normal cycling skills. As the weather can change quickly in Northern Norway, we recommend you bring waterproof jacket/trousers on all our cycling tours.
