Guided snowshoeing hill climb Kvaløya (TNF W104)
This tour starts from Lauklines Kystferie or Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø city centre. We start with a drive for about 30 min, to the places with best snow conditions at Kvaløya. On arrival, we put on snowshoes and walk up a hilly mountain, which is a small summit with great views of the sea and the majestic massif on the island of Kvaløya.
We take a break en route for hot drinks.
There is an elevation of just under 300 m to the summit, in varied terrrain so a normal level of fitness is required.
As the weather can change quickly in Northern Norway, we recommend you bring warm clothes and windproof jacket/trousers on all our tours. You may also hire clothing/footwear from us.
