Guided Terrain bicycle Tromso - Cable Car (TNF 015)
Join a guided mountain bike ride from the cable car in Tromsø! The trip is suitable for anyone who wants a fun and challenging activities in Tromso. We start in Sjøgata 14 ride through downtown, over Tromsøysundbrua the Cable Car. Lift up to Storsteinen, where we enjoy the view a little, before we start the trip up the mountain, down in Tromsdalen and back to Tromsø centre.
The trip is partly paved/gravel road and partly on a trail in the mountains and forests. We ride the trail from Storsteinen on the top of the cable car, and follows a path that moves across and down into the innermost part of Tromsdalen(vally), just below Tromsdalstinden(peak). There is som cycling up and over at first, but mostly down. There are some steep sections down, and crossing small creeks / rivers. It takes normal / slightly above normal cycling proficiency for the trip.
The weather can change quickly in Northern Norway. We therefore recommend that you bring waterproof jacket / trousers on all our trips.
