Join a guided mountain bike ride from the cable car in Tromsø! The trip is suitable for anyone who wants a fun and challenging activities in Tromso. We start in Sjøgata 14 ride through downtown, over Tromsøysundbrua the Cable Car. Lift up to Storsteinen, where we enjoy the view a little, before we start the trip up the mountain, down in Tromsdalen and back to Tromsø centre.

Join us in the hunt for the Northern Lights! In cooperation with Arctic Fishing Adventures we run aurora tours throughout the winter. The tour starts at Lauklines Kystferie 5.30 pm and Radisson SAS Hotel in the city center at 6.30 pm, and run to the best spots. We have the northern lights in the main focus, and do everything we can to make sure that our guests get the best Aurora experience. This can sometimes mean that we get late back to the city, around 2am.

Finaly, hotel guests, locals and tourists will be able to rent outdoor equipment for many different outdoor activities in Tromsø city centre. The rental center is located midway between the hotels, in Sjøgata 14, in connection with a new salesenter for activities where Tromsø Natur og Fritid in cooperation with a number of activity providers are now teaming up to sell the activities aimed at tourists.

For the last two years cycling in Northern Norway have encrease a lot. Most of our customers start in Tromsø and cycle 4-10 days at the islands Kvaløya, Senja and Andøya. There is good conection with boats and ferrys between the islands.

This summer we have get a new sign-posted cycle route from Tromsø south to the outhern coast at Kvaløya and Senja islands.

A lot of accommodation and activity businesses in Troms has now been Cyclists Welcome authentication. Lauklines Kystferie, Sommarøy Arctic Hotel, Mefjord Brygge in Senja/ Senja Reiseliv, all of which approved Cyclists Welcome establishments, and several will be approved during the summer.

Tromsø Natur og Fritid has many years BOB bike trailer for sale and rent. This is a unique good trailer for long bike rides on the narrow northern Norwegian roads. New this year is that we have an agreement with Ortlieb for sale and rental of bicycle bags. Ortlieb is considered one of the best you can get in the saddle bags, both in functionality and durability.

The summer season is soon finished, and we are waiting for the snow and the wonderful blue arctic light. Hopefully we have snow in november/december. We start our winter activities as soon as the snow contitions are good enough. We offer many different winter activities, for kids and adults.
